My name is Jonathan Robbins. I am a third-generation tradesman born and raised in Highland Township, Michigan.

My grandfather painted homes throughout Livingston County for over 20 years. My father built his reputation over 40+ years based out of Highland Township. I grew up on job sites. I started painting at 15 years old, and from the beginning my dad always said painting was in my blood.

But what he truly passed down wasn’t just a trade — it was a standard.

He built his business on reputation, consistency, fairness, and doing things the right way the first time. He taught me that your name matters. That you show up when you say you will. That you stand behind your work. That shortcuts cost more in the long run.

Those principles shaped how I run every business today.

For the past 17 years, I’ve owned and operated Robbins Custom Painting, working inside and outside hundreds of homes throughout Oakland and Livingston County. Over time, that hands-on experience gave me more than technical skill — it gave me a deep understanding of how homes function, how trades should be sequenced, how problems develop, and how to prevent small issues from becoming expensive ones.

This company was created for property owners who do not need leasing or rent collection — but who want their property maintained properly, overseen efficiently, and protected by someone who understands homes at a tradesman level.

I operate intentionally small by design. I do not overload my client list. My goal is to run a disciplined, well-structured operation where owners receive direct communication, fast response times, and practical oversight rooted in real experience.
